An award-winning playwright and screenwriter, Conni divides her time between theatre, film, and television. Stage credits include an adaptation of The Aberhart Summer (Alberta Theatre Projects/Citadel Theatre) and a full-length comedy entitled Homesick, premiered by Workshop West Theatre. Television credits include The Beat, North of 60, and several episodes for the family series Mentors and The Adventures of Shirley Holmes. Conni has worked as a series story editor on The Beat, North of 60, The Adventures of Shirley Holmes and was most recently the story consultant on the Anaid Productions/Life Network documentary series Taking it Off. Screenplays include the animated feature The Other Side of the Pole and the romantic comedy Star Gazing, both co-written with Geoff Le Boutillier, as well as screen adaptations of her stage plays The Aberhart Summer and Gravel Run. She's currently developing a multi-media comedy series for teens (Laughing MAO TV) for CBC television.

A graduate of the University of Alberta's MFA Playwriting Program, Conni is also a proud member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, a regional representative for the Writers Guild of Canada and the president of the Alberta Playwrights' Network.
