How to submit a play

In order to list your play on our on-line catalogue of Alberta plays, you must be a member in good standing of the Alberta Playwrights' Network and have submitted an on-line biography or profile.

Become a member of APN:

If you are a Playwright wishing to become a member of APN or wishing to renew your membership.

Membership costs only $35 per year ($25 for students and seniors) and has many, many benefits, of which the catalogue is only one. You will receive our quarterly Bulletin, regular emails updating you on activities, contests and opportunities, and access to all of our fabulous development programs at APN.

This link takes you to a page containing a pdf membership form. Please download it, print it off on your home computer, fill it out and mail it to our office along with a cheque for the membership fee.

Register your on-line bio/ profile:

If you are not sure if your membership is paid up-to-date, please contact our office at 1-800-268-8564. You may need to pay your membership fee before you can submit your plays.

Before we can start collecting the data on your plays, we need to create a file for you in our database. If you are a current member who wishes to begin submitting plays, but you have not yet registered or submitted an on-line bio/ profile, go here:

You should be a returning member who has already registered on-line and already submitted your bio/profile or already submitted one or more plays.
