A playwright, sketch writer, improvisor and sometime engineer, Blaine’s most recent productions include Bravo, produced by Edmonton’s Shadow Theatre, Five Stages of Death at the 2018 Edmonton International Fringe Festival produced by Cursive Writing Productions, Oral Fixations (co-written with author Leslie Greentree) produced by Red Deer’s Ignition Theatre, and a musical revue Air Raids and Siren Songs produced by the Red Deer Players.

When not bragging about himself in the third persone, he is also a member of the Playwrights’ Guild of Canada and past-president of Alberta Playwrights’ Network and the Writers’ Guild of Alberta.
